Onboarding Students to Blended Learning

This micro-course gives educators a strategy to streamline the adjustment process for students who are new to high-agency blended learning.

Activities include:

  • Analyzing your current student onboarding practices
  • Reviewing examples from other educators
  • Developing and implementing an onboarding plan
  • Writing a support plan for students who struggle to engage
  • Reflecting on your learning and planning at least one way to share with colleagues

Learning Targets:

  • Teach students technology literacy skills to function in a blended environment. 
  • Nurture student agency skills.
  • Support students who are not engaging in blended learning.




Rolling enrollment through August 31, 2022

Course must be completed by September 30, 2022

*This project is supported by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Program to serve all Wisconsin public, tribal, charter, and private schools serving students in grades 4K-12 and Institutes of Higher Education and licensing centers for pre-service educators.
